This week, our super fussy eater became the chief taste tester of some new multivitamins. Bassetts Vitamins have just launched their delicious new Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour Pastilles and they are perfect for busy, active 3-6 year olds.
In this post we’ll share with you our thoughts on the new Bassetts Vitamins, if they’re suitable for super fussy eaters (like mine), how they support kids and why they’re loved by busy parents all over!*
The Taste Test – Are They Suitable For Super Fussy Eaters?
Evie could not wait to put the Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour Pastilles to the test! She is the first to ask to take her multivitamins in the morning and when the new orange flavour pastilles arrived she was like a kid at Christmas.
One thing I actually always really worry about, is if Evie is getting enough vitamins and nutrients from her diet. She is so fussy about flavours, tastes and textures. It does get really frustrating. She is the first to refuse food or spit something out that she hates.
Honestly, meal times are always such a challenge at our house. Over the years, I’ve had to learn a few tricks to get her to eat healthily. It’s not uncommon for me to hide healthy foods in things like smoothies and sauces, just to get her to eat them. Seriously! Please tell me other parents do this too?
One thing I never have trouble with, is giving Evie vitamins. It really does put my mind at ease, knowing that she is at least supported a little bit more by taking these and especially that she is getting enough Omega-3 and important vitamins like Vitamin B6, to support normal psychological function and Vitamin B5, which contributes to mental performance. This is especially helpful with the new school term coming up again. Which means busy longer days for Evie and me not being there to make sure she eats all of her lunch.
Why They Are Loved By Parents All Over…
Bassetts Vitamins are loved by parents all over purely because they contain nutrients. Miss healthy conscious Mum over here also loves them because they contain no added sugar and they are made from natural flavours and colours.
Because they are super tasty (which is more than I can say for some of the vitamins I had when I was little), they can be given to even the fussiest of kids. Evie’s wide happy eyes confirmed straight away that she loved the new orange flavour a lot. When she finished eating her multivitamin, she said it tasted delicious and like a really juicy orange.
Bassetts Vitamins challenged Evie to draw a picture describing what the new multivitamins tasted like. Evie said that the juicy orange flavour reminded her of a summer garden. She soon got to work drawing a warm orange sun, sweet orange flowers and a happy orange lion.
We also found out that Bassetts Vitamins have a website dedicated to kids fun! On their site they have pages upon pages of kids craft ideas, rainy day activities and outdoor fun. How have we never discovered this before?
With Autumn half-term coming up we are looking for inspiration of fun things to do. I’m definitely going to be making my way through Bassetts Vitamins ideas over the week Evie’s off school.
What’s In The New Multivitamins and How Do They Support Kids?
The new Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour Pastilles contain all the benefits of Bassetts Vitamins much-loved multivitamins, but with added Omega-3 and Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B6. They have been tailored especially to support children’s ongoing growth, development and mental performance (as I’ve mentioned above!). A perfect combination for our wild four year old who is about to start school!
