Happy Friday! Who else is starting to feel really festive this week?
I’ve had a crazy busy week work wise – I swear as a blogger this is the busiest week of the year. But I’ve still managed to take quite a bit of family time out to get in the Christmas spirit. We’ve been to a few local craft fairs, took Evie to see Santa and have even started wrapping presents and listening to festive music! I’m hoping to take a bit of time off soon to enjoy my family and the season even more, but there is just one more crazy, busy hectic work week to go through.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY, UNICORNS AND CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAYS #LittleLoves
I have an exciting collaboration with the beautiful Charlotte Tilbury this week, I’ve been reading about Unicorns and have some Christmas giveaways just for you! Here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the week:
Be A Unicorn & Life On The Bright Side Of Life – This little book is hilarious. My fiancee went on a bit of a road trip this week and I asked him to bring me back a small gift. I fully expected chocolate but he bought back this little gem and it’s so funny.
Inside, on each page is a little illustration and next to it is a description of what the unicorn had done that day. It’s usually completely satirical and a metaphor for something bigger in life, but it actually really makes you appreciate the little things in life. I don’t want to give too much away, but if you need a funny daily pick me up and to see life in a lighter way, then this book is for you!
Snapshots and Scenes – Is it cheating a bit to mention this? But I have been watching it over and over again. I made a little family video this week and I’ve been watching all the little clips from it so much.
This video was made as part of a ‘linky’ run by a few other bloggers called ‘Snapshots and Scenes‘. The idea behind it is that you edit together a minutes worth of your favourite video memories from the month.
I am so glad I joined in with this linky back in July. I’ve captured so many beautiful memories that otherwise would have fallen to the back of my hard drive. Each month I have created something so lovely to look back on and so far can really see a big change in Evie in such a small space in time. This is definitely a linky I will continue being a part of in 2018 and I can’t wait to practice my video skills a lot more and hopefully get a lot better at story telling and editing them together.
Christmas Songs – The moment has come and we are finally listening to Christmas songs. I’ve avoided the radio until this week because I hate getting fed up of the songs, which normally happens by now because they start playing them so early. We’re starting to feel so festive now.
But, we still haven’t decorated. We’re going to try and go out and get a tree this week and hopefully we’ll be feeling a lot more ready for the season. If you have any Christmas playlists you love, please link them below so I can have a listen!
Christmas Gift Guides + Some Giveaways – I have been so busy this week, pulling together some ‘Ultimate’ Christmas Gift Guides. I’m so proud of every single one of them because I really made a huge effort to showcase only the products I absolutely adore, have myself or that I’m getting this year for Christmas. On each gift guide I’m also running a little giveaway as a Christmas thank you to all of my readers!
If you are looking for the perfect gift for a blogger, check out the ‘Ultimate Bloggers Christmas Gift Guide‘. You can also enter to win a Joby GorillaPod Tripod.
For kids, I have made the ‘Ultimate Toddlers Christmas Gift Guide’ and I’m giving away some Orchard Toys goodies.
For women, I have made the ‘Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide For Women‘ and I’m giving away some gorgeous lipsticks by the one and only ‘Charlotte Tilbury’.
Charlotte Tilbury – I am absolutely obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury! I am not one for buying beauty products but recently I reached out to my audience because I never…yes really…I never moisturise. My skin lately has been looking so old and it’s really dry. A few of my readers suggested Charlotte Tilbury but her products do come with a little price tag. For someone who doesn’t invest in make-up, I shut my eyes and bought some of her cream. And guess what? The cream absolutely revolutionised my skin. It’s now dewy and soft and the bags under my eyes have faded big time. Plus, my skin is looking more radiant than it has done…well ever.
I asked Santa for more Charlotte Tilbury products this Christmas! But, much to my absolute delight (cue literal squealing!) the brand have asked to collaborate with me this week. I’m writing up a post on some of their products later this week. But, I was fortunate enough to be gifted this ‘Beauty Icons’ gift set. You can read my review of the gift set here.
If you’ve heard about how amazing Charlotte Tilbury is before, but don’t want to commit to big products just yet, this little gift box is so perfect! It contains minis of her most popular products and is amazing for testing out her range. You can see more of her products in my ‘Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide For Women‘. Here can also see a few other luxury treats.
Curious Little Explorers – My Instagram hashtag #CuriousLittleExplorers has gotten very wintery and very festive in the last week! I am so jealous of everyones snow pictures and of all of you hand picking your own Christmas trees. We’re heading out to get ours this week and I seriously can’t wait!
If you have any outdoor family pictures, I’d love for you to join in with #CuriousLittleExplorers on Instagram!
