Today I’m sharing with you another really easy, super healthy snack; these frozen fruit yoghurt bites. These are the perfect little refreshing snack and even better, are great to make with your little ones.

Quick ‘grab and go’ snacks are my new favourite thing. I used to be someone who would get so hungry and quickly grab something super unhealthy. Now my fridges, freezers and cupboards are full of ready-made snacks, or ingredients for easy to make healthy food. Check out these ‘10 Easy Healthy Snacks‘ for more ideas.

These frozen yoghurt bites are so quick and easy to make, even my little toddler helped me with them. Whats even more fun, is that you can change up the ingredients to make them exactly how you like.

Frozen Fruit Yoghurt Bites

  • 150g Yoghurt – Natural greek yoghurt and coconut yoghurt are the healthiest!
  •  Handful of fresh raspberries, blueberries or any other nuts, seeds and fruits
  •  Handful of granola for the base (optional

Set out 12 cupcake cases, or as many as you desire. I love using mini silicone muffin cases as they make it easier to pop them out at the end, but regular cupcake cases work just fine too. baking sheet or tray (this will need to fit in your freezer, so it may be worth checking it for size before you start).

Gather your ingredients. If you are using granola, line the cupcake cases with this first. If you aren’t, simply dollop some yoghurt into the bottom of each cake case and then top with your fruit, nuts or seeds.

Then put your cupcake cases in the freezer for a few hours until they’re set. When they’re hard, remove them from the cake cases and store them in a freezable bag or tupperware box for snacking at a later date.

One thing I love about these yoghurt bites, is that you can change them up with so many different flavours. We ended up making two batches. For one batch we used natural greek yoghurt and for the other coconut yoghurt.

Even more delicious is changing up the fruits and added extras. My favourite combination is a granola base mixed with coconut yoghurt, topped with a fresh raspberry.
