So many of you enjoyed your free ‘Sponsored Post‘ printable last week. If you missed out, then don’t forget to go back and get it.
Whether you’re a pro-blogger or a hobby blogger, there may have come a time when you’ve decided to host a giveaway for your readers.
If you have or you’re planning too, then this weeks free ‘Giveaway Tracker’, will definitely come in handy.
HOSTING A GIVEAWAY
Whether you’ve been asked to host a giveaway by a brand, or you’ve got something you’d love to give to your readers, running a giveaway or competition is a fun way to give back to your readers and at the same time increase your following.
If you’ve never set up a competition or giveaway before, it’s really easy to do. There are two great websites you can use that do it all for you.
My personal favourite is Rafflecopter. It’s so easy to use! I only ever use the free version and it gives me all of the options I need.
If you need help setting up and promoting your competition, then Stevie from ‘A Cornish Mum has written a great post on ‘How To Make Your Blog Competition A Success‘.
Also, if you need to boost your giveaway then Rachel from ‘U Me And The Kids’ has a great ‘Competition Linky‘ that runs every week.
As per usual, an editable version will be available at the bottom of the page, so you’ll be able to add or remove bits as you desire. Here’s a quick peek at what the ‘Giveaway Tracker’ looks like:
As you can see I’ve included boxes for both the website of the product and the item itself. You may host giveaways off your own back so feel free to remove this part and title it in your own words.
I like to keep track of the amount of entries I’ve had from each competition. This is so I can see what is more popular with my readers, which is helpful for when it comes to running future competitions. I know other bloggers prefer to keep track of the page views so feel free to change this or remove it all together.
The contact information boxes have been incredibly useful. I once had an incident where I couldn’t find the brands e-mail again (inboxes can be a nightmare) and it took me a a long time to find it so that I could contact them with the winners information.
Keeping both the brand contact and the winner e-mail somewhere you can see, makes it so much easier and saves time when it comes to communication.
