Recently, on a daily basis, I’ve been finding Evie trying to climb in her little wooden shopping trolley or trying to ride on her Vtech playtime bus. Neither of which can take her weight or are designed for this kind of play. I’ve finally caved in and this week I’ve bought her a Jamm Scoot.
We’ve been putting off getting one for a while because I’m worried she’s not big enough and also because I’m one of these annoying helicopter mums who always thinks her child is going to fall and hurt herself.
I must admit though, I was so excited for it’s arrival that I bounced to the door every time I heard a van drive past. Luckily, Evie also absolutely adores it.
There are several reasons why we bought the Jamm Scoot from GLTC. The first reason is because it looks so darn cool. I mean who doesn’t want a mini retro-looking vespa ride along for their child?
The second reason is because I need to learn to chill out and know that Evie is not in danger sitting on a ride on that’s suitable for her age bracket.
The third reason is because wooden toys are brilliant. They last so long and are usually really well made. This will be such a lovely hand me down for future children or grandchildren.
What’s even better is GLTC have a sale on at the moment and there is 20% off Jamm Scoots. What a great excuse to justify buying one!
As you can see, it’s a beautiful toy. The detail that has gone into it is stunning. It has a sturdy wooden frame and directional castors which makes movement really smooth, unlike most other ride ons that struggle to turn corners.
It comes flat pack, but was incredibly easy to put together. There is even a cute cubby hole under the seat,so toys can ride along too. Evie absolutely loves it so it was definitely a great purchase. If only I was about 20 years younger!
•This product was not sent to me for review. I just love it so much!
