Godolphin House - Autumn Trees

The weather is about to turn for the worst and it really feels like Autumn is definitely turning into Winter.

We’ve put the heating on, started wrapping up in extra layers and my hot drink intake has definitely increased.

I’m so sad Autumn is over, but I am so ready for Winter and Christmas. Mostly because it means that we’re one step closer to Spring and potential warmth and sunshine.

This picture has been one of my favourites that we’ve captured in the last few weeks. It was taken at Godolphin Estate in Cornwall and I am so in love with the colours.

I’m going to really miss the sunshine when the rain takes over.

Are you ready to embrace Winter? What do you think of this photo?

That picture is beautiful, I love driving around right now to see all the colours. I really don’t like the weather from now on but I do love the whole December wind down period, just soooo nice!

It’s such a beautiful time of year isn’t it. Everything is all orange and brown but the sun still shines on occasion. I love December mostly for Christmas, but I definitely can’t wait till Spring already x

We’ve had some really surprisingly sunny days in amongst the storms. We’re quite lucky where we are because we never get the weather as extreme as the rest of the country. Thank you so much for hosting. x

It is so nice to get to wrap up snug and warm. But I must admit, I prefer the sunnier seasons. x

Thank you so much. It’s so bright and cheery, hopefully not the last of those days with Winter approaching. x

This is a lovely picture – I’m really trying to make myself like autumn a bit more this year by appreciating the colours and the beautiful leaves (I’m so a spring, summer type of person).

I am so a spring, summer person too. I really miss the heat right now. Not that we get much, but I much prefer summer days to winter ones. x

Lovely picture 🙂 You sound the same as me… the only thing that gets me through winter (after Christmas) is the thought of spring (my favourite season). I HATE January and Feb with a passion and I always look forward to the warmer days, the sunshine, the flowers (daffadils!), the greener landscape, the leaves, the insects coming out and baby lambs! LOVE IT!

Thank you. I love Spring. And I also hate January/February. They feel so dull and depressing. Ohh you’ve got me longing for Spring now! x

I hate winter too, apart from Christmas. I really think we’re supposed to hibernate sometimes. X
