Wow, this week has been absolutely hectic.
There are several big things going on in our home life at the moment and a couple more huge things going on with Life Unexpected too.
The first big thing thats happened at home this week is that we added to our little family. We got baby bunnies! We are so, so, so in love with them. They’re called Cinnamon and Nutmeg and they are still very teeny at only 8 weeks old. We’ve only had them for two days and they’re still very nervous, so at the moment we’re just slowly introducing ourselves to them.
PICTURES COMING TO THIS SPOT SOON…
I’ve always wanted to have a pet of my own and I think it’s so lovely for Evie to learn how to look after and care for an animal. She’s already been so brilliant with them.
The second big bit of news is that Aitan has finally quit his job and is joining me in the freelancing world. I’m so excited about him starting out on a new path as a trader. I also get to see a lot more of him as we’re sharing an office space at home. How long it will last till we get on each others nerves, I don’t know. But at the moment we’re both super chuffed.
Lastly, there is a HUGE giveaway happening on Life Unexpected this week. We are giving away a family holiday to Cornwall! If you have a baby or toddler then this is for you. The competition is only open for another week so if you want to enter you can do so here.
New Bunnies, Thor and a Jumper Addiction #LittleLoves
This week for me, has been all about getting creative inspiration for my blog, getting snug for winter and going on family adventures. Here’s a few of my #LittleLoves from this week:
Blogosphere – I recently subscribed to Blogosphere magazine and was sent two at the same time to tuck into. I’ve not had a chance to properly read them till this week but I’m still unsure if I love it yet.
It has some really great articles and I’ve loved discovering new bloggers through reading it. But, I really wish they would have sections with a lot more blogging tips and they were a bit more informative. If you’ve got the magazine you’ll probably know what I mean.
It’s great! The pictures are fab, the design is beautiful, the introduction to new bloggers is so welcome. But, it’s really missing something. I would love for there to be more articles about blogging, more blogging tips and tricks, more information about trends and maybe even some giggly, relatable pages! I hope they step up their game for next year, because it has so much potential to be great.
Thor – We went to the cinema to see the new Thor movie. I am so obsessed with Marvel and have been since I was really young. This film did not disappoint and I have to say, it was my favourite Marvel film yet. Purely for how funny it was! I laughed so hard at one point, I spat my popcorn everywhere.
I’m really enjoying watching how this universe is expanding and I cannot wait for the new Avengers Infinity War to come out. I’m searching google daily, waiting for the first trailer to come out.
Guardians Of The Galaxy – A couple of weeks ago we rewatched Guardians Of The Galaxy 2. I forgot just how much I love the sound track to both films.
This week I’ve downloaded the playlist onto Spotify and I’ve been listening to it everyday. It’s such great upbeat music to work to and to have on in the car.
Snapshots & Scenes – I found a really lovely linky a few months ago called Snapshots and Scenes. The idea behind it is that you make a little video every month, made up of all your favourite memories from the month. I’m yet to catch up with this months, but this is my video for October…
I’m really enjoying making these little films. Not only will they be so lovely to look back on, but I’m having a lot of fun learning to edit and make videos. Every month I can see myself progressing a little bit more. I’m in no way a videographer, but I’m hoping in a few months that I’ll be able to make more professional looking videos and focus a lot more on my YouTube channel.
Jumpers – I have a little bit of a jumper addition at the moment. I’m trying to reign myself in from buying too many. I love getting really snug in Autumn and there is something so cosy about throwing on some fluffy knitwear. Here are my three favourites at the moment;
The black one is from Topshop and has really gorgeous floaty sleeves. The grey one is from New Look and is a bardot style jumper. The pink from H&M and it’s really light weight. I love the black one because it goes with absolutely everything. It’s perfect for throwing on and heading out at a moments notice. Then there is the grey, super warm, super snug, super cosy. But the pink one is my favourite for wearing around the house because it is so, so soft!
Curious Little Explorers – I started up the #CuriousLittleExplorers hashtag on Instagram over a year ago now and I find it so phenomenal how much it has grown and just how many people from all over the world have shared there pictures through it. Every week I love scrolling through the feed to see what adventures everyone has been on and to see everyones different photography styles. Here are a few of my favourite pictures from this week:
If you have any outdoor family pictures, I’d love for you to join in!
