This weeks ‘Organise Your Blog‘ is all about the blog love. When I first started blogging I couldn’t get over how friendly and welcoming other bloggers were, and how much everyone encouraged and helped each other along.

If you give love, you get love back. It’s as simple as that.

Social media platforms can sometimes be a place where bloggers post links and run!

We’re busy! We’re trying to balance our home lives and work lives and it’s hard. I’m guilty of doing that on occasion too.

But interacting with other bloggers and your social media followers is a big win all around.

If you find it hard to balance your blog, your life and trying to squeeze in giving some blog love, then this ‘Blog Love‘ printable is for you!

Blog Love Printable

If you’re already engaging in Twitter conversations, Facebook interactions and responding to comments, then you’re on the right track to not only making some great friends, but also to getting more back from your blog. Being friendly and making relationships is such a lovely feeling and makes blogging a lot more special.

I’m sure that you appreciate it when another blogger gives you some blog love, shares your post, retweets it or even puts it on their Facebook page?

Returning the favour or giving your own random ‘blog love’ to someone is not only a nice thing to do, but it can make someones day and it’ll make you memorable.

Last weeks daily blogging checklist, gave you a great way to timer in some daily blog love.

Do you ever read a great post, mean to share it and then forget? Do you join in with ‘Follow Friday’ (#FF) every week and worry you’ll miss someone out?

There are two parts to this printable. #FF and ‘Blog Posts To Share’. As usual, the free printable can be completely edited by you (you can download the editable version at the bottom of the page) so if you don’t like anything, you can change it. 

Blog Love


The #FF part: I have this printable on hand throughout the week, so that the people who interact with me the most, or are just all around fabulous, get jotted down onto my #FF list. Obviously you can use it to add whoever you like.

The ‘Blog Posts To Share’ part: Everyday on both Facebook and Twitter I give out #dailybloglove. If I read a particularly great or memorable post in the week, instead of just commenting on it or retweeting it, I add it to my ‘Blog Posts To Share’ list (as above) and then schedule it in with my own tweets and Facebook posts, so I can give it a special individual share to that blogger on my social media sites.

It’s a bit more personal than a retweet and I’ve made some great blogger relationships by doing this. I find that using a personal hashtag also means that all of those previously shared posts can be rediscovered everyday if someone happens to click on the hashtag.

But, don’t feel like you need to do this too. You might want to use it to store favourite bloggers or maybe something else. It’s up to you. You can download your editable version here:

    I try and comment on posts i’ve read. The blogger has taken the time to write it and as you say knowing someone has read it and commented could make someones day.

    The blog love to share is a great idea other than having a list of blogs i’ve read i hadnt considerd posting individual posts on my social mmedi.

      If you already schedule tweets for twitter and posts for facebook, it’s so easy to slip another few in there and it really does make the world of difference to both you and another person.

      But you’re so right, just a simple comment on someones post is enough. I hate seeing amazing posts with no comments on them. Especially when someones taken the time to write it from the heart. x

    I’ve finally gotten organised and have started scheduling tweets, but I think the recommendation to share posts is such a good one 🙂 I’ve read some gems this morning already that should get more love, so will have a go at getting them out there at once!

      I must admit I really couldn’t live without scheduling tweets now I’ve started. I always break into a cold sweat if I’ve forgotten to do it and have nothing going out haha. But it’s so easy to slip another post in there by someone else as well isn’t it, especially when you’re already in the flow of doing your schedule. So far i’ve found that it makes the recipricantt so, so happy which is such a nice feeling. x

    Great tips, as a new blogger I find that I’m throwing myself in every direction at random times. Having a consistent schedule would help a ton. I also love the #FF, I always find bloggers I love but then forget their handles! Thanks for sharing. Here’s to getting more organized!
