Review: Boppy ComfyFit Carrier From Chicco

Meet the Boppy ComfyFit Carrier from Chicco. This carrier has honestly been an absolute lifesaver for our family. I have a very clingy, newborn baby who loves to be held a lot! In fact, it feels like he is never gone from my arms, which isn’t good when we have super busy days, with lots to do.

I definitely think that a baby carrier is an essential when you have a new baby. They are just so handy. But, it’s not always easy to find one that’s a good fit for your family. Why are some of them so complicated to use?

We have been desperate to find a good baby carrier or sling for our new baby Lior. If you’re a regular reader of Life Unexpected, you’ll already know that this time around, I haven’t been able to take a maternity leave (you can read more about that here). So, trying to navigate my regular work day (I work from home) as well as looking after my five year old and doing chores, all while carrying a baby and only having one arm free, has been super hard.

Then arrives the Boppy Comfyfit Carrier from Chicco.

We are actually very lucky to have been sent this carrier to review. But, if we hadn’t been, I honestly would buy it again 100 times over. It is amazing.

Bobby ComfyFit – Love At First Wear

This carrier was honestly ‘love at first wear’.

Before this carrier arrived, we actually already had a basic sling for Lior. But, we did not get on with it at all. In fact, Aitan honestly wanted to throw the sling we had out of the window. It was so complicated to work out how to use it and even when we finally managed to work out how to actually wear it, it still took so long to put on.

The Boppy ComfyFit Carrier from Chicco could not be simpler to use. It takes less than a minute to put on, you can put it on solo and it is so comfortable for babies. To wear it you simply clip it around your waist and slide your arms into it. You then insert baby, make a simple tie and it’s on!

How amazing is that?

If you are unsure whether to buy a sling or a carrier for your baby the Boppy ComfyFit is a great in-between. It goes on like a carrier, but the fabric is super stretchy and comfortable, which makes it feels like a sling.

Perfect for Wearing At Home Or On The Go

Even if you don’t have a clingy baby like us, the Boppy ComfyFit Carrier is still so perfect for family life with a baby. It’s very easy to take out and about with you and even better, it comes with its own handy pouch. The pouch allows you to fold it up really small, so it can easily fit into your changing bag or handbag.

Perfect for when you are running quick errands or are visiting places that aren’t suitable for a bulky pram.

I have to admit, there are some days where I’ve had to wear this carrier for hours and hours on end. Usually when Lior is having an extra fussy day, or is going through a leap. I can honestly say that this carrier is incredibly supportive of your back, it’s super comfy for baby and it feels very durable. It’s also ‘husband/partner’ approved. Aitan loves the colour! It doesn’t feel ‘girly’ for him, he also finds it comfortable and easy to use.
