We’ve just done a Vertbaudet Spring/Summer clothing haul for both Lior and Evie!
We were kindly gifted a Vertbaudet shopping voucher and I honestly cannot believe how much we managed to pick up for the amount that we were gifted.
If you are a regular reader of Life Unexpected, you’ll know that Vertbaudet is one of our favourite shops to buy kids clothes from (check out another of our Vertbaudet posts here!); mostly because they do really lovely, high quality clothes at very reasonable prices.
We spent just over £100 on Vertbaudet clothes and we managed to pick up six items of clothing for Evie (including a pair of shoes), four items of clothing for Lior and a baby accessory. How amazing is that? 11 things for just over £100?
I really want to share with you everything we’ve picked up, because they do sell the nicest things. So, lets start with what we got for Evie.
Girls Clothes From Vertbaudet
Evie is turning five this week and in a couple of short months she has grown a whole 5cm in height! You can just imagine our big need for new clothes right now, because absolutely everything in her current wardrobe is too short on her.
There are so many beautiful Spring/Summer dresses, tops and skirts on Vertbaudet’s website right now. But, I really wanted to do more of a ‘basics’ shop for Evie, just because she has grown out of everything.
We tend to create Evie a capsule wardrobe every year. Which, for us, means that she’ll always have a basic skirt, a basic pair of shorts, a basic pair of jeans and a few basic tops – always in circulation in her wardrobe. Then each season we’ll build on top of that and we will throw in some seasonal printed tops and fun dresses.
I always love building her a ‘basics’ wardrobe, just because we never know what the weather is going to do. I always try to make sure she has ‘all weather’ clothes that are suitable for cold summer days, or warm winter days.
In all these pictures you will spot the basics we picked up for Evie. I picked her out a washed denim skirt, a pair of denim shorts, two plain t-shirts which have really cute ruffle sleeves and also one stripy summery dress.
She is also in desperate need of some new shoes and she is ‘pink’ mad, so you can imagine her delight when she opened our parcel and found these pink flowery trainers.
Evie’s Mini Haul:
- Short Sleeve T-shirt With Ruffles In White
- Short Sleeve T-shirt With Ruffles In Green
- Denim Skirt
- Denim Shorts With Frills
- Short Sleeved Striped Dress For Girls
- Elasticated Trainers In Canvas For Girls
Next up is Lior.
Baby Boy Clothes From Vertbaudet
They have a really lovely selection of newborn and baby clothes on Vertbaudet. We seem to have gone for a bit of a grey/blue stripy theme with Lior and I am so in love with everything we picked out.
I can’t do a try on with Lior just yet, as we picked up clothes that he’ll be ready for in about April/May. But do keep an eye on my Instagram page, to see him wearing these clothes when he is big enough.
We picked up four pieces of clothing altogether for Lior; two tops and two all in ones.
We wanted something a little bit smart in case we go to any family get togethers or events in Spring, so one of the tops is this super cute ‘grandad style shirt’ that you can see above. I love that it can be dressed up or dressed down for every day use.
We also got him a basic striped top (again see above). Both of these are going to look very cute paired with a pair of baby leggings.
Then there are the two ‘all in ones’. We got him a striped jumpsuit which is going to be perfect for our beach days in Spring/Summer. It will keep him covered, but the material is light and airy enough that he won’t get too hot.
Lastly, we picked out a pair of striped dungarees for Lior and these have to be favourite out of everything. I am so in love with them and can’t wait to see him in them. Hopefully by the time summer comes around he’ll be crawling or showing interest in crawling, so dungarees will definitely come in handy as they are way more durable than leggings.
Lior’s Mini Haul:
- Striped Jumpsuit In Linen
- Grandad Style Shirt
- Striped Grandad T-shirt
- Striped Dungarees
- Travel Changing Mat
Extra Items From Vertbaudet
We also picked up one more thing for Lior. A ‘travel changing mat’ from the ‘Nursery’ section on Vertbaudet.
If you haven’t shopped with them before, Vertbaudet also do homewares, maternity wear, toys and nursery items. I honestly love the selection of products on their website. It’s definitely worth a peek if you haven’t checked them out before.
Since Lior has been born, I have been looking everywhere for a plastic free changing mat and this one is so perfect. It is really soft, it folds up very small, it looks super stylish and it has a detachable, washable lining just in case it gets messy.
If you are expecting a baby, or if you do have a newborn already, do go and check out the nursery section on Vertbaudet. They really do have some amazing essentials at the best prices!
So, that’s everything we picked up from Vertbaudet this season. We’re always doing little mini Vertbaudet hauls though so do keep an eye on our Instagram and blog pages to see what we pick up next!
