There is something so magical about reading books to your child isn’t there? Curling them up on your lap and cuddling them in, while you transport them on an imaginative adventure to anywhere in the world or beyond.

There is something even more special when the book features your child and you get to take them on their very own adventure.

One thing company Lost My Name does well, is create the most beautifully captivating personalised books. Their first ever book, also titled Lost My Name (we wrote a review about it here!), was the best selling children’s book of 2014 and the company are now complete specialists in books that contain the loveliest of personal touches!

But what do you get when you couple a book with new technology?

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home!

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home

The Incredible Intergalactic Adventure Home’ is a book that is on a whole other level. It really has taken book personalisation and trumped it tenfold.

Have you ever taken your child to outer space with their best robot friend and let them explore the galaxies?

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home is a magical story about two friends, one being your child and the other their trusty robot friend, who go on a secret adventure into space.

After travelling around for a while, they find themselves lost. Whilst trying to find their way back home, they run into some wonderful creatures and aliens who help them to find their place in the universe.

Lost My Name are the very first book company to have their very own engineering team and through utilising geo-technology, they have made sure that every single copy of The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home is completely unique to your child. Therefore, even if you buy these books for siblings or friends, they’ll get to fly through a completely different version of space each time.

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home

After receiving a huge investment from Google Ventures, the Lost My Name company built special programs to track the motion of planets and the placement of stars in order to generate art for The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home, that’s never been seen before…even by them!

These books are truly unique and the artwork is so awe-inspiring, that every page seems to have jumped straight out of space itself; with a splattering of stars and planets and creative creatures to discover on every page, it’s the perfect book to spark even the littlest of imaginations.

From the very first page you can leave a personalised note for your child, then you’ll follow your child on her adventure, seeing his or her name written in the stars and helping them to find their way home.

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home

When you arrive back on plant earth you’ll get to see major landmarks that are close to your house, followed by an aerial map of your street and finishing with the number or name of your house on your front door.

Whereas the first book created by Lost My Name, focuses on your child finding their name, The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home teaches your child about the importance of home and knows exactly where your child lives.

After getting lost in space from an epic journey, it then teaches your child to find their own planet, their own country and their own town. Finally, it reaches your front door and tucks your child into bed after the most epic journey through space.

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home

With easy to follow rhymes, The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home is great for even the youngest of explorers and is the type of story that can easily grow with your child. If they are very young, it makes the perfect bedtime story, but as they get older you can certainly use it to teach them about space, planets, the world we live in and what distinguishes their home from any other.

It’s also great to point out local spots on the aerial map and see if they can spot what they are!

We are very much in love with The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home. It’s a truly magical book that will bring so much joy to your children’s bookshelf.
