If you are looking for Christmas gift ideas for 0-3 year olds, then you are in the right place! We also have an amazing giveaway for you at the bottom of this post. Keep reading to find out more!
Do you struggle to workout what to buy for a 0-3 year old? It’s so hard to know what a baby or toddler already has or what their parents would find useful. This year I got together with a few other parenting friends, who have kids under the age of 3. Together we’ve picked a few things that we know any parent would appreciate, as would any 0-3 year old who already has lots of things!
If you don’t know ‘What To Get For 0-3 Year Olds’ this Christmas, I really hope this guide will help!
WHAT TO GET FOR 0-3 YEAR OLDS THIS CHRISTMAS
In this gift guide you’ll find fun lots of amazing toy and gift ideas including; toys for very young babies, noisy toys, stocking fillers, larger presents, very useful gifts and of course something educational but fun!
Something to nibble on…
Nibbling Teether by Nibbling
I’ve always loved the teething company Nibbling and I love even more that they’ve now designed and produced Natural wood and Silicone Teething toys. If you know a little teether, then this natural wood, teething rattle would make such a lovely gift.
This teether comes with two large wooden hoops to chew on! They’re the perfect size to thread a muslin through. It also comes with a mixture of medical grade silicone beach and untreated hand polished beach beads for baby to explore different textures and contrasts. The untreated natural wood is safe for chewing and this teether is suitable from birth.
If you wanted to make this gift even more personal too, you can! Personalisation of the nibbling teether can be done on request!

Something to read…
Hello Farm Book by Indestructibles
I’ve recently discovered the most amazing books for babies! The Indestructibles collection. Yes, they really are indestructible. They’ve been built for the way babies read – with their hands and mouth – and have been created to be 100% chew proof, rip proof, bend proof and drool proof.
We’ve recently picked up the Hello Farm book for our baby to be and we couldn’t resist trying to ‘break’ this book with absolutely no effect! What an amazing invention! The indestructible books are printed on lightweight, nontoxic paper material. They’re easy to clean and even dishwasher safe.
There are several in the collection, but we love Hello, Farm! It introduces babies to farm animals including galloping horses, muddy pigs, shaggy sheep, and more. The bright pages are engaging for baby and at £5 this would make the perfect stocking filler.
£5 // Suitable from birth
Something for bath time…
Bright Basics™ Bath Blocks by Learning Resources
We have these bath blocks for Evie and they’re such a great toy for encouraging imaginative play as well as cause and effect and fine motor skills while baby is in the bath.
The under-the-sea themed building set comes with a large chunky foam, floating base and l5 building pieces so your child can build their very own sea-themed castle. The bath toy also comes with four animals and the pieces can be used both in the water or to stick to bathroom tiles when they’re wet.

Something educational but fun…
Puzzle Set or Heads and Farmyard Heads and Tails Game by Orchard Toys
I couldn’t write a gift guide for kids without including something from Orchard Toys. If you’re a regular reader of Life Unexpected, you’ll know that we are huge fans of Orchard Toys. We’ve had their games and puzzles since Evie was just one years old and its this early introduction to their games that have helped her with so many different developmental stages.
If your little one doesn’t yet have anything by Orchard Toys, we highly recommend starting off with a basic two-piece puzzle set like this ‘under-the-sea’ themed one, or a basic game such as Heads and Tails. We got both of these for Evie when she was one years old and they instilled a huge love in her of puzzles and board games.
From £6.50 // Suitable from 18 months +
Something to ride on…
Toddlebike 2 Pre-Balance Bike by Toddlebike
I couldn’t write a Christmas gift guide for toddlers without including the Toddlebike. We bought this for my daughter when she was one years old and even though she’s way too big for it now she’s 4, we are 100% keeping it for baby number 2 who is on the way right now.
This toddle bike has been played with a crazy amount! It’s perfect pre-balance bike, it can be used both indoors and outdoors and is low enough that even the smallest of little ones can easily climb aboard. I also love that it’s lightweight enough to clip onto a bugger, it is oh so durable and…
Toddlebikes come in pink, blue and red and they also come with a 3 year guarantee (ours is 3 years old and still going strong).
£24.00 // Suitable from walking
Something to play and grow with…
Vibrant Village Smart Lights Activity Gym by Skip Hop
If you’re looking for a ‘big’ present for baby, we cannot recommend this Vibrant Village Smart Lights Activity Gym enough! In fact, I have so many good things to say about it, I don’t even know where to start!
Firstly, there are three ways to play with this mat and I love that it grows and evolves with baby. It can be used for overhead play, tummy time and as a playmate.
It’s also interactive. It has a musical light up arch with volume control and two light modes, one of which has visual tracking for baby to follow.
I also love that this play mat is a mixture of black and white and bold colours, perfect for babies developing eye sight as they go from seeing black and white to colours.
Attached to the playmate are four hanging reversible toys that have black and white on one side and colour on the other. When baby bats at the hanging toys, several different sounds are made. Each hanging toy is also slightly different. There is a kitty with grab rattle rings, a soft car with a squeaker and tactile ribbons, a hot air balloon with a baby-safe mirror and a dog rattle with a ladybug teether.
£70.00 // Suitable from birth
Bandana Buddies Activity Toy by Skip Hop
This soft toy is amazing for younger babies! It has not one, not two but ten really great features. It’s not just a soft toy, but it’s also a teether, a rattle and a toy that is perfect for multi-sensory play.
The Bandana Buddies activity toy has been filled with lots of different textures, patterns and sounds for baby to explore.
We also love that it can be attached to a stroller, car seat or infant carrier for on the go. Available in several fun animal designs, this cute companion is ideal for fun at home or-on-the-go.
